Herbs & Tuna Melt
Ingredients
2 cans tuna
2 hard--boiled eggs, chopped
1/3 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/4 cup minced chives
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
8 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
Directions
Mix tuna, eggs, mayo, cheese and seasonings together in a bowl. On a
ungreased cookie-sheet place 4 slices of whole wheat toast, top with
tuna mixture.
Broil for about 1-2 minutes until cheese melts. Top with remaining whole wheat toast.
Serves: 4
